Chief Steward(ess) in France

Summary

Position: CHIEF STEWARD/ESS 

Med season

Yacht: Motor - 40m - private

Location: MED

Start date: ASAP

Itinerary: Mediterranean cruising for the summer 

Licence Required: NONE - Someone that is friendly, highly organized and a positive personality. 

Requirements:  Solid experience in hospitality. 

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport minimum 1 year (EU accepted)

Food safety/hygiene

PDSD (security duties)

VISA: Schengen if needed for Europe.

Background check and drug testing may apply.

Additional skills are a bonus:

Experience in the Mediterranean. 

Experience on similar sized vessels.

Typical duties:

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and organized Chief Stewardess. Good with service, hospitality and housekeeping.

A welcoming personality. Easy to get along with and enjoys working as a team, work respectfully with other crew. Teaching/mentoring the 2nd stew. 

Ability to anticipate the needs of the family. 

Trustworthy and flexible with a can-do attitude.

-Detailed cleaning 

-Full laundry cycle and Bed preparation

-Creative table settings, plating and serving meals

-turndown service

-Provisions 

-cleaning and stocking.

Responsibilities: CHIEF Steward/ess skills. Organizational skills. Solid communication skills with owner and crew. 

Job Specifics: Private program. Med. cruising  

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.

Commercial Registered Yacht: no private under 500gt
