HOUSEKEEPER - LIVE OUT (When in Dublin)
DUBLIN BASE (DART TRAIN LINE) with International Travel
Salary: 60,000 Euro’s Gross
Essential Requirements: Previous Private Large House housekeeping experience. Can do attitude -strong team player. Clean Drivers Licence. Flexibility for frequent International Travel, EU Passport, Fluent spoken English -Driver & Non Smoker essential.
This is a newly created position for a long-term client of Hutchinson’s, who are a family of 5 with 3 adult children. Working very closely with and reporting to the senior housekeeper and house manager. It is a very busy household, so they are looking for an energetic, pro-active experienced hands-on Housekeeper, who is a great team player but also has ability to work autonomously. The position is Dublin based but will require frequent travel to France and USA. In the role you will be expected to co-ordinate local permanent and casual housekeeping staff. Travel is paramount to this position, flexibility with the duration of the travel dates must be open ended. You will travel ahead of the family to prepare their homes in the US and South of France, to ensure that each home is ready for their arrival. Each property has housekeeping assistance in situ, but the owners would like each residence to run in the same manner. Excellent attention to detail is very important and an ability to anticipate and troubleshoot essential.
Duties to include although not limited to:
· Flexible approach to task and team support
· Daily Housekeeping and cleaning of the property.
· Knowledgeable in the care of fine fabrics, glass, crystal etc.
· Morning and evening turnover of bedrooms.
· Managing laundry and assisting with wardrobe management
· Overseeing outside contractors, service providers and suppliers.
· Grocery shopping, errands and medication levels in house are maintained.
· Assisting with housekeeping and cleaning staff rotas and schedules
· Assisting with updating Inventories and household manuals.
This position is a live out position based in Dublin. Accommodation will be provided when travelling, occasionally shared with another housekeeper. You will work a five-day week (40hrs) with occasional weekend working when required.
SALARY CIRCA 60,000 Euro’s Gross per annum depending on experience- EU Passport and driving licence essential. Strictly Non-Smoker and freedom to travel essential.
