Captain in Italy

Summary

Position : Temporary Captain required for 2019 70ft Lynx Support Vessel 'SHADOW'.

Duration: 4 to 6 weeks, with potential to be permanent.

Role: The yacht is Commercially registered with Cayman, but there will be no Owner of Third-party trips during this period of time. The Yacht is under offer and will be launched again shortly. We require a Captain onboard when she is in the water for insurance purposes, and we also require someone to handle the seatrial.

Location: Just outside Olbia, Sardinia. 

Experience: 2+ Years

Qualifications: Yachtmaster Ocean Motor or Yachtmaster Offshore Motor (Commercially Endorsed), STCW, MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 OR 2), ENG 1

Salary: EUR 6,000K + Discretionary Bonus

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
• RYA Yachtmaster Ocean

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
