ST. THOMAS based - Local Captain needed for a 60ft vessel

US FLAGGED 

St.Thomas based year round

Easy going family who do not use the boat excessively

Family travel a lot and want to trust someone to take care of the vessel during that time.

This position would suit a Captain who has a Chef/Stew partner who can freelance on longer trips. 

Generous salary is on offer and 45 days paid holiday per year. 

100 Ton license is required, along with excellent references. 

Must hold valid passport/visa required to work on a US flagged vessel.

Applicants are required to be local and have their own accommodation ashore.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Master <200gt / OOW <500gt
