3rd Engineer in South Africa

Summary

Hands on 3rd engineer required for a vessel currently in transit and heading into a shipyard period.

The program is well funded and a significant refit planned where candidate can learn the vessel and her systems.

Following that the vessel will be world cruising with an exciting itinerary away from the norm

2:2 rotation, candidate to join the vessel in Mauritius for the remainder of the transit, where sea time can be gained.

Previous yachting experience on similar sized vessels is a must, yard experience a bonus..

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
