Summary
Mate/Engineer position available – This is not an entry-level role. Must have AEC 1 & 2 (non-negotiable) and Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement. You must have real, hands-on engineering experience — not just the certificate. All winches are hydraulic (no captives), with furling headsails and a tight-luffed furling code sail (it’s heavy!). The Mate runs deck operations and manages guest activities and watersports on charter while I handle most of the engineering. Cabin is shared with the Stew or possibly the Captain if needed. We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and genuinely experienced. Salary industry standard. Start ASAP.
