Summary
- Guest Service & Hospitality:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with their needs throughout the voyage.
- Provide personalized service, including table setting, serving meals and beverages, and attending to special requests.
- Anticipate guest needs to deliver discreet, efficient, and attentive service.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times.
- Housekeeping & Maintenance:
- Keep guest cabins, lounges, and common areas immaculate and well-organized.
- Ensure linen, towels, and amenities are replenished regularly.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate crew members.
- Food & Beverage Service:
- Assist with menu planning, wine pairing, and serving during meals and social events.
- Ensure all food and beverages are presented elegantly and served timely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the galley and bar areas.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Work closely with the captain, chef, deckhands, and other crew members to ensure seamless service.
- Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the relevant departments.
- Safety & Protocols:
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols aboard the yacht.
- Assist in emergency situations if required.
- Additional Duties:
- Support in planning and executing onboard events and activities.
- Manage guest laundry and personal requests as needed.
- Uphold the yacht’s standards of presentation and guest experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, yachting, or similar roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and culinary etiquette is advantageous.
- Valid STCW certification and other relevant maritime certifications.
Work Environment:
- Live onboard or work on a yacht, often in remote or exclusive locations.
- Requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability.
