Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sole Engineer to join a 37m new build M/Y that will charter this summer. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Engineer, potentially someone looking to step into their first sole charge role and prove themselves.
The ideal candidate is dynamic, possesses strong AVIT skills, and is comfortable working independently. A polite and humble demeanour is essential.
As the Sole Engineer, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of all the yacht's technical systems, including engines and propulsion, electrical, plumbing and sanitation, HVAC and refrigeration, AVIT, and all other mechanical equipment.
The yacht is commercially registered so you will need to hold an EOOW license as a minimum.
The contract is initially seasonal but can go permanent for the right candidate.
The yacht will cruise the Western Mediterranean (France, Greece, Balearics) with a mix of charter and private use, so the schedule will be busy. The 7-person multinational crew is a non-party boat atmosphere. Equipment includes a Castoldi tender and Seadoo jet skis.
