Seeking an Experienced Second Engineer for a 50-meter private motor yacht.
Second Engineer Position
50m private new-build motor yacht
Permanent position starting in July in the shipyard
Light charters planned in the future
You will be assisting Chief Engineer and carrying out planned maintenance
Strong troubleshooting & problem solving skills
Mechanical issues, conducting regular inspections, and supporting the overall safety and efficiency of the yacht’s operation
Excellent communication and team working skills required
Minimum 2 years of experience in yachting or 3 years on a commercial vessel
Happy to work on deck during charters and owner trips
PBL2 beneficial as the yacht will have a Tender and Chase Boat (i.e. William Diesel Jet 625, Wajer 38, 2x JetSki Seadoo)
Benetti experience would be a big plus
Experience with IDEA software beneficial
42 days of holiday per year
Male due to cabin arrangements
B1/B2 and Schengen already in hand ideally, if required by passport
Contract: Permanent
