Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the yacht and ensure compliance with all maritime regulations.
- Manage and train the deck crew, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
- Assist the Captain in navigation, watchkeeping, and overall vessel management.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and conduct regular safety drills.
- Maintain the exterior of the yacht, including routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Coordinate with the Captain on itineraries and guest activities.
- Assist in provisioning and inventory management.
- Engage with guests to provide an exceptional onboard experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role on motor yachts.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Position Overview:
Ideally, we are looking for a Chief Officer who will be able to take over command as well for the Captain.
He should be very familiar with the ISM & ISPS, possess great Leaderships skills and be happy to teach his team.
Package: 5,000 EUR per month. Permanent contract with 45 days leave per year.
