Sole Engineer in Spain

Summary

Sole Engineer opportunity aboard Private 35m M/Y 

This is a single season, Med based private program, with a great home port for the winter period!

Start Date:        May 2025

Itinerary:           Western & Eastern Mediterranean

Package:           Competitive Salary paid in Euros, 40 days leave

Experience/Skills required:

·      Minimum 3 years’ experience as Engineer on a similar sized yacht

·      Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills essential

·      Must be a hands-on and proactive engineer who is knowledgeable in all engineering and maintenance duties aboard, with the mindset to keeping the works in-house when possible

·      A positive person with a can-do attitude, with the desire to work towards delivering excellence

·      Professional appearance with excellent English skills (Written and verbal)

Qualifications required:

·      Y4 CoC (as a minimum)

·      MTU Certification would be an advantage

·      STCW (fully updated) with PDSD

·      Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with min 6 months’ validity)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
