Seeking a Travel Nanny for UHNW Family in Monaco & Bahamas

About the Family:
Parents are a retired Venture Capital Fund Manager and Silicon Valley Entrepreneur. They both stay at home and are both hands on, thus are looking for someone to respect their wishes and understand that both parents will be involved with the children throughout the day whenever they want. They are European/North American decent – the primary family language is English, with fluent French and Russian spoken to the babies. The family is never in one location for longer than 3 months. The current schedule is split the following way: 3 months Bahamas, 3 months Monaco, 3 months France (in a ski chalet) and 3 months on holiday traveling the world via private jet and staying in private villa or yacht accommodations.
What they are looking for:
· Full-time, live-in educated nanny to join their team in taking care of their 2 daughters – 4 months and 1 month, and travel the world with them.
· The family has a night nanny and additional day care helpers – this position is for a qualified nanny who can handle a 4 month old and 1 month old during the day and help raise them.
· You should be happy to travel the world and not be fixed in one location
· Someone who is flexible, polite, and has a positive labor-forward attitude
· Discretion and confidentially is a non-negotiable – no posts on social media will be tolerated of the children or location of the family EVER!
· Someone who is warm and gentle towards the children – uses positive reinforcement, imaginative and playful, and assists children reaching their developmental milestones.
· Organized and tidy – able to keep their own belongings and children’s belongings in order
· Courteous and well versed in etiquette and manners – social and spatial awareness
· Must have a keen attention to detail
Requirements:
· English speaker – multilingual is a huge plus!!
· Non-smoking
· Passport that allows international visa free travel to: Bahamas, Monaco, France, UK
· Strong swimmer – family is often seaside/on super yachts
· Fully vaccinated – CDC/NHS recommendations for adults, TDAP (newborn), COVID & Flu
· Must have experience with newborn & infants !!!
· Experience with looking after 2+ children
The Nanny is expected to:
- Keep an eye on both babies, bottle feed formula, change nappies, help with developmental milestones, help the babies sleep if needed in a sling/pram or cot
· Keep a digital log – babyconnect app – for tracking days
· Be ok with family using nanny cams for sleep and milestone tracking
· Do baby laundry/ bottle prep / bottle cleaning & sanitizing / - but no household chores for the family
· Ensure the baby’s toys/clothes/supplies are neatly organized around the house
· Keep her own room and possessions neatly organized
· Be religiously agnostic towards the children
· Have punctuality
· Must respect the families space when not on call
· Drivers license is NOT required but is a bonus
Working time:
· On call 5 days a week – 6:30am-6:30pm (2 days off per week)
· May be on call 6 days a week (1 day off guaranteed)
· In exceptional circumstances, may be on call 16 hours per day – ie when flying via private jet long durations
· When traveling on superyachts (1-3 weeks duration) schedules may vary depending on the availability of space and accommodation and number of staff we can have supporting us
Accommodation:
· Own bedroom and bathroom provided in most places
· May need to share a bedroom (separate beds) and bathroom with other childcare support when in exotic locations (ie Four Seasons Thailand/superyachts)
Healthcare Expenses:
· Family will pay for worldwide health insurance and have workers compensation insurance
Travel:
· Travel to and from location guaranteed in premium economy, with frequent business / first class upgrade upon availability and family approval.
· Travel on private jet with family whenever possible and practical.
· When in locations where transportation is required for work - rental car/chauffeur/ubers are reimbursed.
Meals:
· The Family regularly provides meals and chef services.
· The Nanny may either leverage food available onsite at the Family accommodation or may elect to expense one shift meal of up to USD 25 (USA), USD50 (Bahamas), and EUR30 (Monaco and France).
· Receipts must be submitted for reimbursement.
· When in a luxury hotel/superyacht, the Nanny is encouraged to use common-sense and discretion when ordering in-villa-dining and dining-in-resort. The Family reserves the right to subject in villa-dining and dining-in-resort to curbs or budgets upon exhibition of abusive or excessive spending by Nanny
Salary:
· Bahamian work contract with a tax-free salary (Gross = Net). Salary is negotiable and depends on experience USD 4,000-7,000 per month. Yearly discretionary bonus, based on performance.
· The family is looking for a long-term commitment to round out the team of All-star child support that is already in place.
