This is a great opportunity for a junior engineer with a deck background, to learn from a very experienced chief engineer and start to work towards the engineer side of things. The salary is more on the deck side, but for all of them AEC holders out there looking for the engineering experience then this could be for you. The role will essentially be 60/40, with the 60 being on the engineering side of things and the rest on deck when required. A Yachtmaster Offshore with guest tender experience would also put you to the top of the pile.
