Chief Officer/1st Mate in Spain

Summary

We are seeking a Chief Officer to join a busy Malta flagged 50m private/charter vessel.

This is a dual season program, with 7 weeks of charters currently lined up, and heavy owner usage. Mediterranean summers and Bahamas/Caribbean winters. 

The ideal candidate will hold their OOW at minimum, PWC Instructor, and Sperry ECDIS.

2 years similar experience with ISM record keeping, leading drills, safety officer onboard, ECDIS chart updating, watch keeping, large tender driving and towing operations.

Candidates with videography, photography and water sport training are preferred. 

Crew currently located in the EU/UK and English native speaking preferred.

B1B2 and Schengen visa already in hand. 

This is an opportunity for a charter experienced Officer to join a busy program and lead a great team.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Chief Mate <3000gt

Instructor Qualifications

• RYA PWC Instructor (jetski etc)
