Summary
Silver Swan is seeking a highly experienced and flexible Captain to manage two private motor yachts for a valued client. While there are two yachts in the fleet, the Captain will typically operate one vessel at a time, switching between them as needed throughout the season.
- Yacht 1: 31m – max 5 crew
- Yacht 2: 36m – max 6 crew
After the season, one of the yachts (most likely the 31m) will relocate to Greece or Turkey. During the winter period, a reduced crew will remain onboard as per owner instruction. This position offers the potential for year-round employment, based on performance and alignment with the owner's expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Take full command of one yacht at a time, rotating between the two vessels as required.
- Ensure safe navigation, operations, and maintenance in full compliance with maritime regulations.
- Lead and manage the onboard crew, adjusting size seasonally.
- Communicate effectively with the owner, carrying out instructions including crew residency and operational scheduling.
- Oversee upkeep, maintenance, and budgeting for each vessel during your assignment.
- Deliver a seamless luxury experience for owners and guests at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must hold an EU passport.
- Proven experience as a Captain on yachts between 30m–40m.
- Strong command presence, with the ability to switch between vessels efficiently.
- Holds all relevant certifications (e.g. Master 500GT or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership and crew management skills.
- Discreet, professional, and highly adaptable to owner requirements.
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
- Familiar with Mediterranean cruising areas, especially Greece and Turkey.
