Summary
Captain – 70m Private Motor Yacht (Commercially Registered)
Salary: €18,000+ per month | 120 days leave per year
We are currently seeking a highly competent Captain for a 71m private motor yacht (commercially registered).
This is a non-rotational position, and we are looking for a candidate with proven experience in managing large yachts, leading multinational crews, and maintaining the high operational and service standards expected by an experienced Owner.
The vessel operates with a multi-national crew and winters in the Mediterranean.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full command and responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the yacht.
- Ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations and high safety protocols.
- Work closely with the yacht management team to deliver operations aligned with the Owner’s expectations.
- Lead the crewing strategy, working with management to recruit and maintain a high-caliber, guest-focused crew.
- Oversee all aspects of planning and executing cruising itineraries.
- Maintain the vessel in top condition year-round, ready for Owner use at any time.
Requirements:
- Valid 3000gt Captain’s License.
- Extensive experience as Master on yachts of similar size and global cruising grounds.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage an international team.
- Solid understanding of Owner and guest service expectations.
