3rd Engineer in South Africa

Summary

We are seeking a proactive European citizen, a Third Engineer with a commercial and yacht background. We offer a rotation 2/2 months, EUR x12 months, plus an annual bonus, full medical coverage, and flight tickets. The trial period is 3 months.

Job Conditions:

1. Job type: Rotation after hand-over period

2. Rotation: 2 months ON / 2 months OFF

3. Salary: 4000 EUR/month x 12 months + annual bonus+ 13^TH salary 4800 Euros.

6. Commencement date: 20 May – The date can be early, around 18 – 21 May

 General Requirements for all crew:

7. Valid STCW certification

8. Valid medical fitness cert. (ENG1 or equivalent)

9. Valid Schengen visa Other Requirements: Valid visas

9. Languages: English compulsory, others a plus

10. No visible tattoos when wearing shorts and T-shirt

11. Non-Smokers and Non-Drinkers Vessel Profile:

12. 77m ice class yacht, diesel-electric, worldwide cruising

13. Pax: 22, Crew: 21

14. Engine team: C/E, 2/E, 3/E, ETO

Essential Qualifications

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
