Sailing Catamaran SEVEN is seeking couple / team to join as crew on a journey in the Pacific.
Itinerary
May to September 2025 SEVEN will be based in French Polynesia sailing between Tuamotus and Society islands
In October most likely SEVEN will sail to New Zealand for the winter mooring 2025/2026 till owners return in May 2026
In May to September 2026 SEVEN will have sailed the waters of Tonga & Fiji
About the Owners
Seasoned sailors in their mid-forties with two adventurous teen and a pre-teen, have already completed the journey from the Mediterranean to New Zealand over 2.5 years on their previous sailboat. Throughout the journey, family and friends will join onboard, making for an even more enriching “charter” experience.
Crew Responsibilities
This two-crew role combines full responsibility for the galley and interior and exterior upkeep and assisting captain/owner in sailing operations and water sports activities.
Responsibilities
Galley and Food Management:
Take charge of meal preparation, providing simple yet tasty dishes.
Plan and manage food provisioning, ensuring the galley is well-stocked and organized.
Work collaboratively with the owner's wife and guests who may assist with cooking and provisioning.
Operate and maintain galley appliances, including a 5-burner stove, oven, and dishwasher.
Interior Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting interior, including guest cabins, galley, and communal spaces.
Ensure the galley and living areas are organized and hygienic.
Sailing and Maintenance Support:
Assist the captain with docking, anchoring, and basic sailing operations when required.
Pilot the dinghy for provisioning or guest activities.
Help with maintenance and deck upkeep.
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of water sports equipment.
Requirements:
Competent in preparing straightforward, satisfying meals and managing kitchen tasks.
Basic experience with provisioning and food inventory management.
Friendly and approachable personality with strong teamwork skills.
Flexible, "can-do" attitude, with a willingness to assist in various roles.
Familiarity with water sports equipment and basic maintenance is an advantage.
At least 1 year of yachting experience
A PWC (Personal Watercraft) or small boat license is a bonus but not essential.
Crew and Accommodation:
Accommodation provided in own cabin with queen bed, air conditioning, and a private bathroom.
