2nd Officer in United Arab Emirates

Summary

We are urgently seeking a temp 2^nd Officer/OOW for a 90+m vessel.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more sea time, the vessel will be crossing to the Med via Suez Canal.  Temporary contract for crossing, could become permanent.

Requirements

• OOW license in hand (Chief Mate preferred)
• All certificates up to date
• OOW on yachts or passenger ships
• Proficient with bridge equipment and yacht systems
• Strong navigational skills, experience in watchkeeping, and safety operations
• Experience in supervising the deck crew in maintaining the yacht's deck operations
• Schengen visa/ EU citizen essential

Start date: 4 May

End date : TBC

Location: UAE

Salary:  EUR 3500

Leave: 7.5 days per worked month (4:2 rotation if made permanent)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Reg II/1 CoC Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
