Summary

We require a Y3 or equivalent Chief Engineer for approx 3-4 weeks.

The vessel is a 50m Benetti built 2015.

The job will be a delivery back from Dubai to SoF, which will take around 2-3 weeks, with a solid few days of handover with the rotational Chief Engineer.

The vessel is well-maintained and both rotational engineers have over 10 years service on board.


The job will mostly be watchkeeping throughout the passage with two or more stops for bunkering, day-to-day maintenance should be fairly straightforward. Will be an engineering team of three for the passage, including a deck/eng who has been on board for two years.

CAT MEs and gensets which are in very good working order.


Preference given to candidates in the UAE or SoF.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
