The candidate specification
We're currently seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess with a minimum of 5 years in the yachting industry and at least one year of experience as a chief stew on a similar-sized yacht. The role of the chief stew is crucial in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. They are responsible for delivering top-notch hospitality and personalised service to owners, anticipating and meeting their needs and preferences.
Additionally, the Chief Stewardess oversees the interior team, cultivating a positive and professional work environment through effective leadership and regular training sessions. Managing the inventory of interior supplies, coordinating with the provisioning team, and ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation are also part of their responsibilities. Clear and open communication among the entire crew, along with compliance with maritime regulations and safety protocols, is crucial.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience on yachts, strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
