Rotation: 3 months on 6 weeks off

The Interior Manager is looking for a strong Lead Housekeeper to join them around mid July. Please note that this is not a Head Of Housekeeping position. The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of the housekeeping department and to have management skills. They will assist the head housekeeper with the daily running of the housekeeping department, leading and supporting their team and may be required to cover for the head housekeeper at times when they are unavailable.

Other duties include ensuring sanitation procedures are followed, managing stock controls, purchasing stock when needed, defects and maintenance lists. They must also have adequate knowledge of machinery/equipment/products and the cleaning and maintenance of these items. The Lead housekeeper checks the guest interior and crew areas thoroughly to check if the correct detailing procedures are being followed. The Lead housekeeper as well as assisting the head housekeeper, also assists the Interior Manager when required.
