SYR are supporting a well known specialist in large yacht hydraulics and mechanical engineering as they seek a skilled engineer to work as their \'Tail End\' specialist, supporting customers yachts in all matters related to tail end systems

With more than 30 years in business, the employer are well respected and are generally working with yachts of 60m and above. Due to the increased demand for their services from the shipyard which they operate from within, they seek an individual who is experienced in areas such as propellors, shafts and rudders, with the capability to remove, repair and service these parts of a large yacht and a network of suppliers on which to lean for their support

Based in one of the major yacht refit hubs in Spain, the role will see you support a wide range of clients on a mixture of projects and offers flexibility and autonomy along with an attractive earnings package for the right person.

In terms of our ideal candidate, we\'re keen to speak with someone educated as an engineer and with both experience in a shipyard and at sea. With excellent knowledge of tail end systems and appendages you\'ll known what to look for when servicing and surveying yachts and be able to offer your expertise when it comes to repair, warranty claim or upgrade
