Summary

We are looking for a rotational Engineer with at least 3-5 years’ experience in the industry as an engineer for this well established and beautiful Private SY.

We are looking for a hardworking engineer that loves sailing, who is a great communicator, passionate about his job, good at problem solving in a relaxed manner.

This is a Private/Charter SY however no charter has been booked for this summer. The summer will be spent cruising the Baleares, France and Portofino, doesn´t move much further away that Sicily.

This winter program has not been confirmed.

Currently undergoing a 15-year refit.

Americas Cup in September/October.

There is 5 crew onboard.

Must be able to stand a watch so a YM would be preferred.

This is a family like crew with a professional yet relaxed environment, so our rotational engineer will be a friendly, easy-going and level-headed candidate with a good sense of humour and a keen sailor.

Owners are fantastic.

Job Title: Chief Engineer

Contract: Rotation 10:10

Yacht: Private/Charter 35m+ SY

Starting date: End of May/June – 2-week handover with rotational chief engineer partner

About the program: MED/TBC

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, Minimum AEC 1&2, YM preferred.

Requirements for application: 3-5 years’ experience in yachting industry with an engineering background and with sailing experience, the sailing aspect is important. Good verifiable references, Computer literate, good with documentation, PLC.

Salary: 4,000-4.500 Euros

Other Benefits: Medical insurance on and off, Bonus scheme, etc.

Additional Information Tattoos are ok.
