Marine Resources are currently recruiting for a Marine Service Engineer for my client based in Southampton.
My client specialise in the design, manufacture, and supply of high-quality industrial products and solutions tailored to the needs of various sectors including marine, industrial, and aerospace. Established with a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability, my client leverages advanced engineering and manufacturing techniques to offer a wide range of products including couplings, dampers, and drive technology.
An an exciting opportunity has arisen to join their marine department, working as a field service engineering covering their well established clients, including Red Funnel, Williams Shipping and Carnival, mainly in Southampton and Portsmouth (although there may be some circumstances where further travel is required).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of marine products, in particular couplings, dampers and drive technology
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
-Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for unique marine applications.
Deliver training to customers and distributors on the proper use and maintenance of products.
Conduct technical evaluations of product performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in marine engineering.
