Summary
BRILLIANT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED NANNY FOR HNW FAMILY IN SYDNEY
Location: Sydney, Australia
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (30-40 hours weekly)
Salary: AUD 70,000-AUD 120,000 per annum, DOE
Status: Live-out
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented Nanny with valuable baby and toddler experience to support a lovely high-net-worth family who are relocating to Australia from the USA, working 30-40 hours weekly. The family are looking to appoint a dedicated Nanny with a registered nursing qualification to support them with the care of their 8-month-old son, as one of the parents travel frequently for work.
Responsible for all usual childcare duties, you will be warm, friendly, and kind, as well as being calm and organised, able to provide guidance and reassurance where needed to these first-time parents.
The role will be a mix of sole care and shared care with the stay-at-home parent, so the ideal candidate will be highly responsible and reliable, as well as being flexible and adaptable to accommodate the needs of the family.
Both parents are active and love the outdoors, so it is very important to them that their son spends time outside each day, weather permitting, and would like for the nanny to be a confident swimmer who would be happy to take the boy to swimming lessons and beach excursions. The family also have a lovely hypoallergenic goldendoodle, so being a dog lover is an absolute must!
Working 4-5 days per week (to include one weekend day) usual hours will be 9am-5pm, and though a driving license is not required for the role, it would be a bonus. Ideally, you will also be able to provide overnight proxy-parent care a few times a year when both parents are travelling, and on other occasions be willing to travel internationally with the family when they go on holiday – all accommodation, travel and food will be covered by them when travelling.
