Y3 Engineer opportunity aboard Private / Charter 35m M/Y cruising East Coast Australia

Start date: February 1st, 2021

Package: Competitive Salary paid in AUD, 40 days leave

Itinerary: East Coast of Australia

This is a 3 month contract, which will lead to permanent for the right candidate.

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on superyachts in a similar role

• Excellent trouble shooting and fault finding skills essential

• Experience with MTU 4000 Engines would be advantageous

• Previous Yard and Survey experience preferred

• Former experience on Charter Yachts is highly beneficial

• Must be a hands on and pro-active engineer who is also willing to help on deck if/when required

• Professional appearance

Qualifications required:

• MCA Y3 or higher, AMSA Engineer Grade 3 with STCW international endorsement also accepted

• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD

• Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months' validity)

• First Aid Certified

• Drivers Licence

• RIB Master or Higher (preferred)

• Confined Space Entry (preferred)

• Working at Heights (preferred)

Male only due to cabin arrangements

Non smoker/no visible tattoos
