Position:  Sole CHEF  - Relief 2-4 weeks in the Bahamas   Yacht: Motor 35m Private   Job ID: 1006014   Location: US   Start date: January 8th - 2 - 4 weeks relief   Itinerary:  US/Bahamas     Requirements:  Covid test - to be administered on Jan. 7th 1130am or before joining   Culinary trained or strong restaurant apprenticeship   B1/B2 to re-enter US Food safety & hygiene certificate yacht experience STCW + refresher ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months) Security Awareness Responsible provisioning skills Good food waste management Very organized with clean galley practices     Ability to produce high quality meals and presentation as well as healthy fresh meals for a crew of 7. Important to be able to prepare freshly caught fish and sushi.    Passport - minimum 1 year   Other Requirements:  Well presented and spoken. A professional attitude. Light drinking habits. A calm personality with a team work attitude. This is a small boat so everyone helps where needed.    Responsibilities: The role would be CHEF.  Full charge of galley duties. High quality presentation, safe food handling, organization, clean galley practices, happy to cook healthy meals for crew. Responsible provisioning.     Other: Flexible in your role. Reliable, mature, good disposition. Good communicator.    Job Specifics: This is a private yacht based in the Bahamas. Lovely owners. A positive crew growing in their experience. This boat is managed by a professional yacht management company. Great captain.    Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience
