STCW + Refresher Food Hygiene and Safety Security awareness ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for minimum 1 year) Passport (valid minimum 1 year) Additional specialty cooking courses Well prepared and plated meals Healthy varied meals for crew Organized Clean galley practices Team player Happy disposition VISA: B1/B2 visa, Schengen if needed.
Responsibilities: Galley - cooking, cleaning, organizing, menu planning, provisioning. Travel is remote, so need to have a strong understanding of food provisioning and storage. Intentions to go to the high arctic next year so need to be prepared for a very remote trip.
Own cabin with shared bathroom with one other crew.
Good sized galley.
Usually only owner and two kids but at times 10 onboard plus 11 crew.
Other: The owner and his family spend a lot of time on board. There is not a lot of down time. Long voyages.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience - to be negotiated directly with captain.
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
