License required: II/4 or II/5 STCW rating. (Able Seaman, Navigational Watch Certificate, Efficient Deckhand Certificate) NO ONE ELSE WILL BE CONSIDERED.

We are looking for a strong candidate with experience on heavy commercial ships with some yacht experience. Helicopter operations experience is a plus Large tender driving experience is a must STCW Designated Security Duty - PDSD Fit for duty (medical certificate) C1/D or B1/B2 visa required Advanced fire fighting a plus PSCRB a plus.
Salary: $ 3000/ month

Responsibilities:

Deck Ratings

Deck Ratings are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the exterior and technical spaces of the vessel to 'yacht like' standards as directed by the Deck Officers.

The Deck Ratings will fulfill all duties and tasks delegated to him by the Captain, Deck Officers or Chief Engineer. These duties and tasks will include bridge lookout, harbor watches, anchor watches, standard yacht operations (including guest services), administrative work (chart corrections when directed), safety management, physical labor in cleaning, prepping, painting, repairing, and maintaining exterior surfaces and vessel assets.

The Deck Rating is to always be neat and in the correct uniform - worn correctly- and ensure that proper routines and disciplines as described within the Ship's Policies and Masters Standing Orders are followed. In addition the position requires:

  Watch keeper as directed by Chief Officer, responsible for communications, safety, and performs all lifting operations with vessel crane.
  Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of seamanship.
  Crew member of tender as required.
  Able to carry out independently various deck department duties.
  Assists with maintenance of deck equipment.
  Member of shipboard emergency response team.
  Cleans, and maintains exterior spaces as directed by Chief Officer.
