Hello We are looking for a Relief Engineer for private yacht from Nov 15th to Jan 15th, 2021 The Yacht is a 40m large volume expedition style yacht with the interior by Donald Starkey The yacht is not chartered, it is a private yacht with moderate use by the owner to date. Onboard each crew member helps each other if needed, we try to keep it interesting instead of the same job every day!! We currently operate the boat with 7 crew, and it is team environment, there are no job titles. • Capt. (35 years’ experience) American • Engineer (30 years’ experience) British • lead Deck (6 years’ experience) South Africa (female) • Deckhand ( 1 years’ experience) South African • 2nd deckhand( 1 years’ experience) South African • Chief Stewardess (2 years’ experience) New Zealand • 2nd stew (6 months experience) American The crew sleeping arrangements, we have four large (for a 40m) crew cabins that are set with bunks. Two have their own heads and showers in them, the two forward cabins do not have their own in suite heads. The engineer will have his own stateroom except when a chef comes aboard with the boss. We are looking for QUALITY crew, this owner requires a high level of crew standards. The owner is American and a well-known yachting family with a history of owning multiple yachts up to 120m. You must have current B1/B2 for the US if you are not an American.
