35m+ sailing yacht looking for a dedicated professional chef, either with proven charter experience on (sailing) yachts or an adventurous top-notch ‘shore chef’ with a great attitude who is keen to break into yachting. Culinary training a must.

You pride yourself on providing well-presented and flavourful high-end food and have no problem creating original vegan dishes while on charter. You have a passion for using fresh local produce, are au fait with Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, cook healthy for the crew, all while maintaining a clean and organised galley. You must be used to improvising, and be adaptable and able to handle last minute change. Hospitality is in your blood and when patrons (be it guests or crew) love your food, you thrive!

Fluent English is a must. Seeking crew with no drama, who can take some banter and who have a great eye for detail and very high standards in everything they do.

Mixed charter and private use with great owners. You will be cooking for 5 crew and up to 6 guests, however, on occasion you may be expected to cater for larger numbers.

We are a relatively small boat that runs with 5 crew where everybody helps each other, so we’d like someone to join the team who can jump in and help with lines or other departments when needed and has a sense of humour.

We are a crew who likes to go out (but not a party boat!) and like to be active and discover the places the boat visits so this would suit somebody who shares those interests.

Currently finishing a re-fit then heading to the Caribbean for the winter, next summer to be confirmed. October start.

Male of female candidates, willing to share with opposite sex if need be. Possibility of couple with a stewardess.

Salary in Euros, depending on experience, MLC contract and benefits. Strong references required.

Updated STCW 95/10, ENG1 and MCA recognised Food & Hygiene certificate required as well as B1 visa.
