Yachtmaster Offshore - 5 Day Prep/Exam (RYA, USCG or other)

Pre-course experience / requirements

50 days, 2,500 miles, 5 passages over 60 miles acting as skipper for at least 2 of these passages and including 2 which have involved overnight passages. 5 days experience as skipper. At least half this mileage must be in tidal waters. All qualifying sea time must be within 10 years prior to the exam.

VHF Certificate and a Valid First Aid certificate

For Commercial endorsement you will also require a Sea Survival certificate and an ENG1 Medical

Course Structure

5 days practical course followed by the Exam

Exam fee - £231 payable to the RYA

All examiner travel and accommodation expenses are included in the cost
