The Yachtmaster OFFSHORE requires command or skipper expertise on sailing or motor vessels. Introduces you to the profession of skipper or commander on ships flying the Red Ensign Group, UK and Maltese flags. it also allows access to the title of Master 200gt, going beyond the 24 meters authorized for a recreational officer.
The Yachtmaster OFFSHORE Course is held at the Port of Rome and at the Argentario and is divided into 2 sessions:
The 7-day theoretical session, with mapping and tides, Boardings at sea, Meteorology and the 4-day practical session at sea, with a program aimed at passing the practical exam.
To obtain the Offshore qualification you need at least a first aid certificate and the GMDSS SRC which you can obtain ONLINE at our centre.
For commercial use of the title of Yachtmaster offshore it is necessary to have the Basic training stcw 95, ENG1 or biennial and the Professional Practices and Responsibilities Course, available online in our centre.
