STCW 95 Basic Safety Training is an ideal course for anyone looking for basic safety training at a recreational level or those wishing to make a career at sea.

Structure

he four STCW 95 courses below make up the mandatory STCW familiarisation and basic safety training requirements for all seafarers. These are traditionally booked as a complete package, however can be booked as individual modules if required.

STCW 95 Personal Survival Techniques

STCW 95 Personal Safety and Social Responsibility

STCW 95 Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting

Those attending the STCW 95 Basic Safety Training course package will also receive the Proficiency in Security Awareness course at no extra cost. This is in accordance with the STCW 2010 Manila amendments and became mandatory on the 1st of January 2014 for all seafarers that did not have specific designated security duties whereby the Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD) course will be required and is available as a top up when completing the basic training package.
