As with all of OMT training courses, the knowledge gained in the classroom and practical hands on skills will give you the basic training required to work onboard.

The STCW is a mandatory requirement for seafarers working on vessels over 24m, who are required through manning requirements to hold this qualification. It\'s a must for those interested in cruise ships, superyachts, wind farm vessels, work boats and beyond.

OMT\'s Southampton location has great links internationally with daily flights to and from SIAL airport where this course takes place.
