Course Structure
Elements covered include, setting up sextant, taking and reducing sights.
Useful Information
Following the course candidates are required to complete a 600nm ocean passage and submit their sights and workings to the for assessment during an oral exam.
Entry Requirement: Candidates should ideally have a sound knowledge of coastal and offshore navigation and sailing.
