RYA Sea Survival

The Sea Survival course takes place over one day and is for anyone going to sea to gain an understanding of how to use the safety equipment on board the boat. The course is mainly theoretical but involves physical activity in the swimming pool in order to simulate conditions when abandoning from a vessel to a life raft. We have a pool session which lasts up to 2 hours; You will be involved in various types of survival drills for about ½ of this. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer on arrival confirming your physical ability to cope with the mild exercise involved.
