This is a one-day course, the syllabus includes a broad understanding of principles of radar, major components, controls and settings and operating modes. Sections on the use of plotting techniques for collision avoidance, using radar for navigation, interfacing with other equipment and setting up for optimum performance should give new operators the knowledge needed to get the best out of their set.
