RYA Powerboat Level 2

The 2 day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is conducted in Cape Town, South Africa and provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a Superyacht tender (powerboat).

Similar to a driving license, you are required to be in possession of a valid powerboat license before you may legally operate at sea. As a professional formality, each crew member should complete their RYA Powerboat Level 2 course in order to fulfil their job role and be an active member of the crew.

Our training consists of practical and theoretical exercises. Training vessels used include: 5m Explorer Tender & 4.5m RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat), also used for our RYA Superyacht Tender Operator Course.

Your instructors (ex-superyacht crew), with many years’ experience, will teach you all the skills required to drive a powerboat safely & confidently. In addition, and one of the only companies to add value in this way, we go a step further and include Superyacht specific tender operating procedures which is sure to impress your superior or Captain.
