RYA First Aid

The one day RYA first aid course designed for leisure and charter boat users. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper, Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence. To commercially endorse these certificates you will also need to attend a VHF Radio Course and a Sea Survival Course and obtain a signed ML5 Medical form.

Course Content:

RYA First aid and resuscitation techniques for yachtsmen, including a knowledge of the treatment for hypothermia.

Ability After Course:

Understands basic first aid in a marine environment. On succesful completion of the course you will be issued you RYA First Aid Certificate.

1 day

Scheduled RYA first aid courses are held at Ocean Quay Marina (Nr Ocean Village Marina) Southampton, Hampshire UK and in the Solent area. This venue is approximately an hours commute from London and our course prices from £49 are more cost effective than attending your VHF Radio Course in London. We are a short drive from Portsmouth and only 40 minutes from Poole.
