RYA Diesel Engine Course

Marine Diesel engines are the most reliable engines in the world. However they require maintenance.

This one-day course (6hrs) will provide you with an awareness of the main systems of a diesel engine and will teach you how to take simple measures to prevent mechanical breakdown at sea and to rectify defects, which do not require workshop support.

I have broken down many times but always managed to get home. I will teach the tricks to get you out of trouble.

We have access to 2 diesel engines in a classroom situated in London. No need for overallsas the engines are oil free. You will receive a comprehensive RYA booklet, together with handouts and a certificate.

Video and power point presentations will assist in giving you a good working knowledge.
