RYA Day Skipper

This four day course develops boat handling, pilotage, seamanship and navigation.

During the course you'll learn the basics of berthing 'stern to' as is common in the Mediterranean as well as the more conventional alongside style. The technique for man overboard recovery is also an important part of the syllabus.

The course also introduces the techniques of night pilotage. Anchoring procedures are also developed in this course, helping to ensure you select the best position to be able to relax in confidence.

On successful completion of this course you will be able to confidently skipper a Motor-Cruiser in familiar waters.
