RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory

This is an advanced and intensive course which takes the student up to the theory knowledge required for Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster® Practical Examination. Run over 6 days, this course builds on the Day Skipper theory course. During the course students sit three exams and will be awarded the RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory Certificate.

Rising & Dipping distances, meteorology, collision avoidance, safety and passage planning. Operation and Limitations of GPS and Chart Plotters.
