RYA Advanced Powerboat

The Advanced powerboat course is essential for those wishing to travel farther afield and especially navigate at night. The duration is 2 days and includes a well planned night navigation excercise. Although traditional chart and compass methods are used on this course we like to place an emphasis on the use of modern navigational equipment making this an exciting course to undertake.

We take a maximum of 2 students per boat/per instructor so that you have lots of time behind the wheel and can hone your navigational skills.

We provide everything you need in weather proof gear.

The course is run every weekend throughout the year but if you prefer weekdays please get in touch and we will make it happen.

The advanced course is essential for anyone wishing to go for their RYA/MCA Advanced commercial license.
