PROFICIENCY IN SECURITY AWARENESS STCW COURSE DELIVERED OVER 2X 2-HOUR WEBINAR SESSIONS Prerequisites: Must be over 16 years of age. Who is the course for? For new and experienced crew who do not have a designated security duty. Overview: This course is an STCW Security Training course, providing new and experienced crew with necessary knowledge and understand to carry out security duties onboard a vessel. This course will help you to have a heightened awareness to security and become more vigilant when onboad. It promotes: • Importance of ship security and roles. • Awareness of requirements and measures to maintain ship security. • Being able to recognise and report a security threat.
