Regulation VI/5, paragraph 1 and Section A-VI/5, paragraphs 1 to 4 of the STCW Convention and Code 1978, as amended.

Pre-Requisites:

Those undertaking the training must have either:

At the discretion of the MCA - appropriate sea service (minimum three months) and knowledge of ships operations to enable them to achieve the objectives of the training. If this is the case, then the learner must provide proof of such.

Online Assessment:

There are multi-choice on-screen learning confirmation questions to complete at the end of each section, and a final randomised test. This test may be taken as often as required and the pass mark is 70%.

Course Duration:
