The Human Element, Leadership and Management (Management Level) (HELM Management) 5day course is now required for candidates applying for the Chief Mate (Yachts less than 3000gt) CoC. The course provides Masters and Officers with the knowledge, understanding, skills, and tools to effectively manage and lead crew aboard.
The course is continuously assessed and includes a written assessment. Candidates must, however, complete the whole course successfully to be issued with the appropriate certificate.
