Yotspot Headed over to Antigua for the Charter Yacht Show
It’s that time again when the yachting industry makes the crossing over to the Caribbean and the winter season kicks off, meaning it’s the start of the Antigua Charter Yacht Show! Having attended the show for over a decade now, we were more than excited to return again this year.

Wednesday 3rd
Our first Antiguan evening was spent at the Marinaside Restaurant for our exclusive, invite-only Captains’ sunset dinner in collaboration with Döhle Yachts. “Great conversations with great industry minds,” said a Captain of a 75m yacht we met and that was the perfect description of how the evening went. It was a wonderful chance to unwind and connect with fellow Captains over informal drinks and dinner by the water. A big thank you to everyone who attended!

Thursday 4th
And just like that, the Antigua Charter Yacht Show had kicked off, and our first stop was the Captains’ briefing. We were proud to sponsor this event for the second time, and it’s always a great space to share updates on what we’ve been working on since last year. We also demonstrated how we’ve further streamlined the process of posting a role, helping you find the best crew in less time and at a lower cost.
As the evening arrived, the team dressed up in their brightest colours for the Superyacht Charities sundowners event at the Boom Bar, raising money for GILM INC. It was inspiring to see the superyacht community come together in support of an organisation that has been making a difference for over 25 years, helping underprivileged families.

Friday 5th
On Friday, we visited the Antigua Yacht Club to check in with several of our existing and prospective customers. It was a great opportunity to reconnect, share updates, and highlight some exciting new developments.
That evening’s event was the welcome networking evening, a Caribbean supper at the Copper and Lumber Store Hotel. It was filled with entertainment, including a live steel band, limbo and fire dancing, cultural performances, and a live DJ! A big thank you to the headline sponsor, MYS USA INC, and the wine sponsor, Best Cellars, for making it happen.

Saturday 6th
Saturday was another busy day checking in with some of our existing and prospective customers based in Falmouth Harbour. But the highlight of the day was the evening event on Motor Yacht Sherakhan, where they hosted an invite-only party on board with music from Daft Funk and drinks from Global Wine Solutions, who served MAÏA Côtes de Provence Rosé and Prince Explorer Gin. Another great evening spent in Antigua!

Sunday 7th
Hiring faster, smarter, and better with Yotspot was the aim of the game today at our informative session. On Sunday morning, we hosted a masterclass on how to use the platform, running through proven strategies to streamline your hiring process and attract top talent effortlessly. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by. It was great to answer everyone’s questions.

Monday 8th
As the Antigua Charter Yacht Show drew to a close, we headed to the last marina on our list to check in with our customers in the 144ft to 200ft size category.
The evening took us to the ACYM after-show party at the Dow’s Hill Interpretation Centre, with a dress code of “Caribbean Christmas” and sponsored by MYS USA INC. It was a great chance to reflect on the week we’d had and to let our hair down with live entertainment from international DJs.
Now we are back at Yotspot HQ, excited to reconnect with everyone we met throughout the show and to start the countdown to Christmas! A big thank you to the teams who put together this event, until next year Antigua!
