The candidate specification

We are currently seeking a Deckhand to join a newly build 58m yacht in the Florida As part of the deck crew, you will work closely with the Chief Officer, Bosun, and other deckhands to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the vessel. Please be aware that we require someone based in the USA, due to the urgency of the role.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the operation and maintenance of deck equipment and systems.

Proficiently handle tender driving, including an 18ft outboard rescue tender, a 25ft jet drive tender, and 2 jet skis.

Carry out general deck duties such as cleaning, painting, and varnishing.

Provide assistance during mooring and anchoring operations.

Support water sports activities and guest requests related to the deck area.

Demonstrate an open-minded attitude towards learning new tasks and responsibilities.

Uphold a strong work ethic and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a deckhand role.

Valid B1/B2 visa.

Proficiency in tender driving, including experience with various types of tenders.

Ability to adapt to new challenges and tasks as the yacht grows.

Hardworking and dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required experience: minimum 1 years Yachting Experience

Qualification: STCW, ENG1, Covid Vaccinated

Due to cabin arrangements: Male Only

Required Visa: B1/B2 and Schengen Visa
